Quick Oscars Review-


So I vastly overestimated what I could talk about the Oscars compared to what I can actually and frankly want to talk about so tomorrow there will be a Food Network comparison Podcast about how the Food Network is a channel you should be watching in general. I still think it's important to mention that the Oscars disappointed overall due to lack of humor, the amount of soap boxing as compared to previous years and general lack of creativity. It's truly a shame to say that Louis C.K. was the best part of the Oscars when there was so much potential. From Sarah Silverman's bad "improv'd" speech to the little Asian "accountants" it was just, for lack of a better word, crap. It's important to remember regardless of movies, shows or shorts, that live tv has to be entertaining and not just "edgy" or crass. The 88th Oscars was exactly that and should fade away as soon as possible.

Welcome Back One and All!

First off, I want to thank everyone who read this during the Spring finale season earlier this year. This is a lot easier to do when people actively show they are enjoying reading the blog and give ideas for future topics. That being said, I am gonna be starting the blog up again! Who would of thought that school being over would be so boring? Sure there are the benefits of not multi-tasking between the classes you really want to be at and doing that Gender Communications b.s. homework that you waited to do until 50 mins before class started, but being out of school for the first time for me since beginning in kindergarten, I am missing writing and being judged for it.  This summer, I figured out that I can manage a team, that I was missing out on some shows, and that I need to be doing something more meaningful for myself. Why I Watch Game of Thrones

Well it's here, season 6 of Game of Thrones is only days away and right in time for dead week/finals week (thanks HBO). I have papers galore, a test to study for and a room to pack up but I am going to make time to watch the premiere of my favorite show on television. This will be a very basic, very spoiler free post so you guys can experience it unlike what my friends had to endure when i tried to get them to watch Breaking Bad.  So why is Game of Thrones my favorite show I watch? Characters Too many names to so who everyone is, and this isn't even half of the cast.
